M'Bala Nzola

M'Bala Nzola is an Angolan forward born in Buco-Zau, Angola, who developed in France after moving there as a child. He began his senior career in Portugal before continuing through Italy’s lower divisions, where he played for Virtus Francavilla and Trapani. Nzola’s progress accelerated at Spezia under coach Vincenzo Italiano, and he helped the club win promotion to Serie A in 2020. In top-flight football, he became a focal point in attack, using his 1.85-metre frame to hold up the ball, contest duels and create space for teammates. Nzola scored 13 league goals for Spezia in the 2022–23 season before moving to Fiorentina. He chose to represent Angola internationally in 2021, adding senior international football to a career built through gradual progression.
