Mitchel Bakker
Mitchel Bakker is a Netherlands defender who can operate at left-back or left wing-back. Born in Purmerend, he developed in the Ajax academy and progressed through Dutch youth international teams from under-15 to under-21 level. He helped Jong Ajax win the Eerste Divisie in 2017–18, but moved on as competition for a first-team place increased. Bakker joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2019 and developed into a senior option, making his Champions League debut and featuring in domestic cup finals. With PSG, he collected the Ligue 1 title and domestic honours before moving to Bayer Leverkusen in 2021. He switched to Atalanta in 2023, later spending the 2024–25 season on loan at Lille before returning to Italy. Atalanta’s 2024 Europa League triumph added a major continental honour to Bakker’s résumé.
