Mateo Bajamich

Mateo Bajamich, a right-footed winger, attacks space and peels off the line to run beyond defenders, finishing moves when the ball arrives. Mateo Bajamich began at Instituto, debuted in 2019, and later moved to MLS with Houston Dynamo in 2020. He moved quickly for opportunities. Bajamich then joined Atlético Tucumán, scoring first Primera goals in 2024 and establishing himself as a forward who checks runs behind the back line. Turning point came when he reoriented to higher tempo attacking transitions, linking plays with one-touch layoffs and making late runs to the back post. He operates as a winger or central striker, pressing from the front and pinning centre-backs with smart positioning.
