Malick Assef

Malick Assef is a French forward who has developed through the lower levels of French football. He began with CO Saint-Fons before joining US Vénissieux in 2014. Assef later established himself at GOAL FC, where he had multiple spells and became a regular attacking contributor. In the 2021–22 season, he recorded four goals and four assists in 14 appearances. He moved to Hyères FC on a free transfer in June 2022, then returned to GOAL FC in 2023. In 2026, Assef joined Villefranche and was used mainly as a right winger or right midfielder, with the ability to operate centrally. His profile supports inward runs, crossing and link play, while his defensive work has broadened his role beyond the forward line.
