Markus Arsalo

Markus Arsalo is a Finnish midfielder who developed through TPV and Ilves in Tampere before continuing his youth education at TPS in Turku. He joined Inter Turku in 2020 and also featured for Inter Turku II, where he scored four goals in 13 appearances. In 2021, Arsalo gained senior experience with FC Jazz, making 16 appearances during a loan spell. He moved to the SJK organisation in December 2022 and began his Seinäjoki career with SJK Akatemia in Ykkönen, recording 18 league appearances and one goal in 2023. Arsalo then established himself in the Veikkausliiga with SJK, making 28 appearances with one goal and one assist in 2024, followed by 31 appearances, two goals and four assists in 2025. He is currently listed with AC Oulu, adding a new chapter to a progression built on central midfield work and increasing attacking contribution.
