Matej Angelov
Matej Angelov is a North Macedonian midfielder born on 11 July 2004 in Štip. He developed at hometown club Bregalnica Štip before moving to FK Rabotnicki’s academy in 2019. Angelov made his senior debut for Rabotnicki during the 2020/21 season and became a regular by 2022/23, recording 27 league appearances. In July 2024, he joined Ukrainian Premier League side LNZ Cherkasy on loan, returning to Rabotnicki in January 2025. A defensive-minded midfielder, Angelov has also operated centrally, helping shield the defence and begin attacks with his passing. He has represented North Macedonia at under-21 level, including UEFA European Championship qualifying matches. Angelov is currently listed with Bregalnica Štip, continuing a career that has taken him from local development to senior and international football.
