Maghnes Akliouche

Maghnes Akliouche is a French midfielder born on 25 February 2002 in Tremblay-en-France. He developed at Villemomble Sports and US Torcy before joining Monaco’s academy in 2017. Akliouche made his professional debut for Monaco in October 2021 under Niko Kovac, then made his first start in February 2022 and supplied an assist in the Coupe de France. Under Adi Hütter, he became a regular during the 2023–24 season, contributing eight goals and four assists in 31 appearances. In September 2024, he scored against Barcelona on his Champions League debut as Monaco won 2–1. Akliouche also represented France at the Paris Olympics, helping the team win a silver medal. A technically creative midfielder, he has operated as a number 10 or wide midfielder, moving into half-spaces to connect play and progress attacks.
