Lucas Pires Silva

Lucas Pires Silva is a Brazilian left-back born in São Paulo on 24 March 2001. He developed through futsal, playing for Nacional-SP and Santos before spending 13 years in Corinthians’ youth system. In July 2021, Lucas Pires moved to Santos, initially joining the under-23 setup before progressing to the senior squad. He made his senior debut against Corinthians in February 2022 and established himself as an attacking-minded option on the left. After leaving Santos in 2023, he joined Cádiz on loan for the 2023–24 season and gained experience in La Liga. Lucas Pires then moved to Burnley in July 2024, continuing his career in English football and featuring during the club’s Championship campaign. His game combines close control, short passing, crossing and the ability to contribute from wide areas, while his role can extend into more advanced or central positions.
