Leon Clinton

Leon Clinton is a Gibraltar-born midfielder who developed in the academy of Lincoln Red Imps. He began his senior career with Lincoln before spending 2018/19 on loan at Lynx FC. Clinton then represented St Joseph’s in 2019/20 and Europa FC in 2020/21, continuing his progression in the Gibraltar league. From 2021 to 2023, he played for Glacis United, where he became a regular midfield contributor involved in transitions and central coverage. He joined Mons Calpe in July 2023 and made 19 appearances during the 2024/25 season. In July 2025, Clinton moved to Magpies on a free transfer and featured in the club’s UEFA Conference League qualifying ties against Paide Linnameeskond. At youth international level, he represented Gibraltar at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level, including matches against Portugal and the Netherlands. As a versatile midfielder, Leon Clinton offers passing, positional discipline and defensive work across the domestic game.
