Kang-Hee Lee

Lee Kang-Hee is a South Korean midfielder born on 24 August 2001. He began his senior career with Suwon Samsung Bluewings in 2020, before joining Busan IPark on loan in 2022. That spell gave Lee regular league football, and he moved to Gyeongnam FC in 2023. At Gyeongnam, he developed into a holding midfielder who shielded the defence and helped start attacks, while earning two K League 2 Best XI selections. Lee also represented South Korea at under-23 level and was involved in the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup, including a spell as captain. In July 2025, he transferred to Austria Vienna, taking his defensive midfield experience to the Austrian Bundesliga. At 1.91m, he offers aerial presence, positional discipline and secure short passing, while his versatility has also allowed him to cover deeper defensive roles.
