Luca Danilo Zuffi

Luca Danilo Zuffi is a Swiss midfielder who developed at FC Winterthur and made his professional debut in the Challenge League during the 2006–07 season. He spent his early senior years with Winterthur before joining FC Thun on loan in 2012, where he helped the club qualify for the Europa League group stage. In 2014, Zuffi moved to FC Basel and became a regular in a side that won three Swiss league titles and two Swiss Cups during his spell. He also featured in Basel’s 1–1 Champions League draw at Liverpool in 2014, as the club reached the knockout rounds. After leaving Basel in 2021, he joined FC Sion and remained there until 2023. Zuffi then returned to FC Winterthur, where he continues to play in midfield. Known for measured passing, set-piece delivery and positional awareness, Luca Danilo Zuffi has adapted from more advanced midfield roles to a deeper playmaking position.
