Leopold Wahlstedt

Leopold Wahlstedt is a Swedish goalkeeper born in Stockholm on 4 July 1999. He developed in the youth systems of Norrtulls SK and AIK before beginning his professional career with Dalkurd FF in 2018. After joining Arendal in 2019, Wahlstedt moved to Norway’s Odds BK in 2021, initially serving as a reserve before establishing himself in the first team. His performances for Odd earned wider attention, and he made his Sweden debut in January 2023 during a 2–0 victory over Finland. In August that year, he moved to Blackburn Rovers, where he experienced the demands of the English Championship and made 21 league appearances. Wahlstedt then joined AGF Aarhus in 2024, but a foot injury soon after his debut limited his opportunities. He has since returned to Norway with Rosenborg, where his 1.90-metre frame, reflexes and distribution support his modern goalkeeper profile.
