Lan Vidmar

Lan Vidmar is a Slovenian defender, born in Maribor on 11 September 2001. He developed in NK Celje’s academy and played for the club’s under-19 side before leaving in July 2020. After a period without a club, Vidmar joined NK Bistrica in June 2022. He made 16 appearances in the Slovenian second division during the 2023–24 season, earning a move to Maribor in January 2024. At Maribor, he made 11 Prva Liga appearances in 2023–24 and continued his progression within the senior squad. In February 2025, the defender joined FC Koper on loan for regular playing time before returning to Maribor in June. Vidmar has since been included in Maribor squads for European competition, including UEFA Conference League qualifying, and is described as a physically capable, ball-playing centre-back.
