Lautaro Rodrigo Valenti

Lautaro Rodrigo Valenti is an Argentine centre-back born in Rosario on 14 January 1999. He developed at Lanús and made his Primera División debut in 2019, scoring against Gimnasia y Esgrima in a 1–1 draw. During the 2019–20 season, Valenti established himself in the Lanús defence, making 28 appearances and scoring three goals. He also entered Argentina’s youth setup, training with the under-20 side in 2017, representing the under-19s at the 2018 South American Games and later joining the under-23 squad. In September 2020, Parma brought him to Italy on an initial loan with an obligation to buy. A cruciate-ligament rupture in April 2023 interrupted his progress and kept him out for more than 230 days. Valenti is now registered with Parma, where his 1.88-metre frame suits central defending and aerial contests.
