Lucas Simon Pierre Tousart

Lucas Simon Pierre Tousart is a French midfielder born in Arras on 29 April 1997. He developed through JS du Pays Rignacois, US Pays Rignacois and Rodez AF before joining Valenciennes, where he made his Ligue 2 debut in January 2015. Lyon signed Tousart in August 2015, and he soon became a regular in the senior midfield after progressing through the club’s youth setup. With Lyon, he combined defensive work and short distribution with the ability to cover ground, making more than 150 appearances across four seasons. In February 2020, Tousart scored Lyon’s only goal in a Champions League win over Juventus. He also captained France Under-19s to the 2016 European Championship title and was selected for the tournament’s team. After moving to Hertha BSC and later Union Berlin, Tousart returned to France with Stade Brestois 29, where his experience supports the midfield.
