Logi Tómasson

Logi Tómasson is an Icelandic defender born on 13 September 2000. He developed at Víkingur Reykjavík and reached the senior pathway after loan spells with Þróttur Reykjavík in 2018 and FH Hafnarfjörður in 2020. Returning to Víkingur, he became part of a successful side that won the 2021 Besta deildin and Icelandic Cups in 2019, 2021 and 2022. In August 2023, Tómasson moved abroad to Strømsgodset in Norway, where he produced five goals and two assists in 29 Eliteserien appearances during 2024. He joined Samsunspor in July 2025, continuing his career in Türkiye’s Süper Lig as a left-sided defender capable of supporting attacks. Tómasson has also represented Iceland at senior international level, adding international experience to his club career. His game combines defensive responsibility with crossing and forward running, while his progression from Reykjavík to Norway and Turkey reflects a steady rise.
