Luka Sučić
Luka Sučić is a central midfielder for Real Sociedad and Croatia, having been born in Linz, Austria, on 8 September 2002. He developed with SV Alkoven and Edelweiß Linz before joining the Red Bull Salzburg Academy in 2016. Sučić then played for FC Liefering between 2019 and 2020, recording six goals in 26 appearances as he developed from an attacking midfielder into a more versatile central player. He made his Salzburg Bundesliga debut in September 2020 and scored his first Champions League goal against Sevilla in September 2021. In August 2024, he moved to Real Sociedad, continuing his career in La Liga. Internationally, Sučić debuted for Croatia against Slovakia in October 2021 and was part of the squad that finished third at the 2022 World Cup. Left-footed and 185 centimetres tall, he is noted for progressive passing, finding space between the lines and long-range shooting.
