Lazar Vujadin Samardžić

Lazar Vujadin Samardžić is a left-footed central midfielder born in Berlin. He developed at BSV Grün-Weiss Neukölln before joining Hertha BSC’s academy in 2009, where his prolific youth scoring earned him the bronze Fritz Walter Medal in 2019. Samardžić made his senior debut for Hertha in May 2020 and moved to RB Leipzig that September. In August 2021, he joined Udinese, scored against Spezia on his debut, and established himself as a creative Serie A midfielder. Across more than 90 appearances for Udinese, he scored 13 league goals. His passing, dribbling, set-piece delivery and left-footed shooting allow him to operate as a central playmaker or attacking midfielder. After representing Germany through under-21 level, Samardžić chose Serbia in 2023 and represented the country at Euro 2024. He joined Atalanta in 2024, continuing his progression into a versatile senior midfielder.
