Luca Bastian Plogmann

Luca Bastian Plogmann is a German goalkeeper born in Bremen on 10 March 2000. He began at ATSV Habenhausen before joining Werder Bremen’s academy at seven, developing there for more than a decade. Plogmann represented Germany at youth level and was the country’s goalkeeper at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup and UEFA European Under-17 Championship. He made his Bundesliga debut for Werder Bremen against Eintracht Frankfurt on 1 September 2018, aged 18. In 2020–21, a loan move to SV Meppen was cut short by a serious knee injury after eight appearances. Plogmann moved to Go Ahead Eagles in 2022 and later joined FC Dordrecht on loan, where he played regularly during 2023–24. Returning to Go Ahead Eagles, Luca Plogmann has continued his development as a reflexive, ball-playing goalkeeper who supports buildup with his distribution.
