Luke Elliot Plange

Luke Elliot Plange is an English forward born on 4 November 2002 in Kingston upon Thames. He developed at Derby County, where his progress through the youth system led to a senior breakthrough and established him as a promising young striker. Crystal Palace signed Plange in January 2022, and he initially returned to Derby on loan as part of his early professional development. He later continued his career through loan football, gaining experience with HJK Helsinki in Finland. During the 2024 season, Plange scored seven goals in 36 appearances for HJK and featured in qualifying matches for European competitions. In July 2025, he moved permanently to Grasshoppers, where he has taken on a more regular attacking role. Luke Plange combines central-forward play with movement into wider areas, while his pressing and quick finishing remain important elements of his game.
