Lorenzo Pirola

Lorenzo Pirola is an Italian centre-back born in Carate Brianza on 20 February 2002. He developed in Inter's youth system and made his senior debut for the club in a 4–0 win over SPAL in July 2020. Pirola joined Monza on loan in October 2020, gaining senior experience as the club secured promotion to Serie A. He later moved to Salernitana, becoming a regular and scoring three goals in 54 Serie A appearances across two seasons. In July 2024, Pirola transferred to Olympiakos Piraeus, helping the Greek side win the Super League Greece title and Greece Cup in his debut season. He represented Italy at youth level, including the Under-17 team that finished runner-up at the 2019 European Championship. Pirola also captained Italy’s Under-21 team at the 2023 and 2025 European Championships. At 1.85m, Lorenzo Pirola brings disciplined positioning, tackling and aerial defending to central defence, with some versatility at left-back.
