Luca Pellegrini

Luca Pellegrini is an Italian defender, primarily a left-back, born in Rome on 7 March 1999. He developed in the AS Roma academy, where he won the Under-19 national title, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa. Pellegrini made his senior Roma debut against Frosinone in September 2018 and provided the assist for Aleksandar Kolarov. In July 2019, he moved to Juventus in a swap arrangement involving Leonardo Spinazzola, then continued his development through loans at Cagliari, Genoa and Eintracht Frankfurt. At Cagliari, Pellegrini operated in an attacking system and recorded six assists in 24 league appearances, while his Frankfurt spell ended early after nine league games. He represented Italy at the 2019 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, including a midfield role in a 3-5-2 system. Pellegrini joined Lazio on loan in 2023 before making the move permanent in 2025, adding a homecoming chapter to his career.
