Luca Netz
Luca Netz is a German defender who developed from FSV Bernau into one of Hertha BSC’s academy prospects. He joined Hertha in 2010, progressed through the youth ranks, and made his Bundesliga debut against Schalke 04 in January 2021. Netz scored his first top-flight goal weeks later against VfB Stuttgart. In August 2021, he moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he continued his development as a left-back while also filling left-midfield and left-wing-back roles. His Gladbach spell included 24 Bundesliga appearances in 2021/22 and 30 league matches with six assists in 2023/24. Netz also represented Germany at youth level, including the Under-15s and Under-21s. In January 2026, he joined Nottingham Forest, bringing Bundesliga experience and left-sided versatility to his new club.
