Loïc Négo

Loïc Négo is a right-back born in Paris on 15 January 1991. He developed through Paris-area youth football before joining FC Nantes, where he established himself as a promising defender. In 2010, Négo helped France Under-19 win the European Championship, marking an early international achievement. He joined AS Roma in 2011, then continued his career at Standard Liege before moving to Fehérvár FC in 2015. In Hungary, he became a long-serving right-back and won the league title in 2017–18 and the Hungarian Cup in 2018–19. After obtaining Hungarian citizenship in 2019, Négo made his national-team debut in 2020. He scored Hungary’s late equaliser against Iceland in the Euro qualifying play-off, then faced France at Euro 2020. After returning to Ligue 1 with Le Havre in 2023, Loïc Négo is currently listed with Omonia Nicosia.
