Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto

Luis Fernando Muriel Fruto attacks space and threatens the back post, dropping deep to act as a trequartista when the move starts. He broke through in Europe with Udinese, earning the Serie A Best Young Revelation award. Muriel thrives by linking play behind lines. He moved to Sevilla in 2017 as a club-record signing and later peaked with Atalanta, becoming a lethal super-sub during the 2019–2024 period. In MLS he joined Orlando City SC and contributed 14 goals and 10 assists over two seasons. Muriel Fruto then returned to his boyhood club Junior Barranquilla in 2026 to wind down his career. He presses high and drives at defenders to finish moves, finishing plays with quick shots off the back post. The international note is that he helped Colombia finish third at the 2021 Copa América.
