Louis Mouton
Louis Mouton is a French midfielder who developed at Saint-Étienne after beginning in amateur football with ES Veauche. He progressed through the club’s academy and became a regular for Saint-Étienne II in Championnat National 3 during the 2021–22 season. Mouton signed his first professional contract with Saint-Étienne in June 2022 and made his Ligue 2 debut against Dijon the following month. He scored his first senior goal against Pau in September 2022, in a 2–2 draw. In 2023–24, he joined Pau on loan, making 27 Ligue 2 appearances and gaining consistent senior experience. Returning to Saint-Étienne, Louis Mouton made his Ligue 1 debut in August 2024 and featured 24 times in the top flight that season. He moved to Angers in June 2025, where his central-midfield work has included defensive duties, pressing and late attacking contributions.
