Luca Moro

Luca Moro is an Italian forward born in Monselice on 25 January 2001. He developed at Padova and made his professional debut in Serie B in 2019. He subsequently spent developmental periods with Genoa Under-19 and SPAL Under-19 before making his senior debut for SPAL in 2020. Moro then made his breakthrough during a 2021–22 loan at Catania, scoring 21 goals in 28 Serie C appearances. Sassuolo acquired him in January 2022, and he finished that campaign with Catania. He continued his development in Serie B loans at Frosinone and Spezia before returning to Sassuolo. With Sassuolo, he helped the club win the Serie B title in 2024–25 and remains part of its squad. Moro has also represented Italy at Under-21 level, while his tall frame and centre-forward positioning support a direct, physically engaged style.
