Lorenzo Montipò

Lorenzo Montipò is an Italian goalkeeper from Novara who developed in the Novara youth academy. He moved into senior football through loan spells at Siena in July 2015 and Carpi in August 2016, with the latter ending in January 2017. In July 2018, Montipò joined Benevento initially on loan and went on to make 100 league appearances for the club. His Benevento spell included a role in the team’s promotion to Serie A, where he made his top-flight debut against Sampdoria on 26 September 2020. After Benevento’s relegation in 2020–21, he moved to Hellas Verona for the following season. Montipò became a regular in Verona’s goal and has continued to feature for the club in Serie A. Standing 1.91 metres tall, he contributes through reflex saves, high-ball claims and penalty stopping, with four clean sheets and two penalties saved recorded in the 2025–26 season.
