Luka Modrić

Luka Modrić is a Croatian central midfielder known for press-resistant dribbling, passing, vision and control of tempo. Born in Zadar in 1985, he developed at Dinamo Zagreb and gained senior experience on loan at Zrinjski Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Returning to Dinamo, Modrić helped the club win three consecutive league titles before joining Tottenham Hotspur in 2008. In England, he established himself as a creative midfielder and helped Tottenham reach the Champions League. He joined Real Madrid in 2012, becoming a central figure in a trophy-rich era that included six Champions League titles. Modrić won the 2018 Ballon d'Or after captaining Croatia to the World Cup final. He also helped Croatia finish third at the 2022 World Cup and remains an important international presence. Now with AC Milan, Modrić continues to bring experience, tempo control and positional intelligence to midfield.
