Lucas Maronnier

Lucas Maronnier is a French defender who operates primarily at right-back and can cover the opposite flank. He began playing with USF Trilport and CS Meaux before joining the Paris Saint-Germain academy in 2013. After leaving PSG in 2018, Maronnier moved to EA Guingamp, initially entering its under-19 setup and later developing with Guingamp II. He spent several seasons in the reserve side before signing his first professional contract with Guingamp in July 2023. During the 2024–25 season, he became a regular presence in the senior squad and scored his first professional goal. In summer 2025, Maronnier joined Estac Troyes on a free transfer and continued his career in Ligue 2. At Troyes, he contributes as a mobile full-back who supports build-up play while maintaining defensive structure. His progression reflects a path from elite academy football through reserve competition to established professional football.
