Lovro Majkić

Lovro Majkić is a Croatian goalkeeper born in Zagreb on 8 October 1999. He developed at NK Zagreb before joining HNK Rijeka in August 2014, although he did not make a senior first-team appearance there. In July 2018, Majkić moved to NK Istra 1961 as a free agent and gradually worked towards regular senior football. After securing the starting position in May 2022, he established himself as Istra’s first-choice goalkeeper and made more than 100 Croatian top-flight appearances over several seasons. He was also part of Istra squads that won the Arena Cup in 2019 and 2021. In July 2025, Majkić joined Aris Thessalonikis, starting a UEFA Conference League qualifying match against Araz-Nakhchivan before competing for selection in Greece.
