Lorenzo Lucca, a towering forward at 2.01m, attacks space and pins centre-backs with hold-up play and delayed runs. Lucca broke through at Palermo in 2020–21 with 13 goals, then surged at Pisa in 2021–22 with early scoring runs. He broke through with 13 goals. His 2022–23 Ajax loan exposed him to European pace as the first Italian at Jong Ajax. A 2023–25 move to Udinese saw Lucca establish in Serie A, finishing with notable goal returns in 2024/25. As an Italian, Lucca is a classic target man who links play with one-touch lay-offs and shields the ball under pressure.
