Luca Lezzerini

Luca Lezzerini is an Italian goalkeeper born in Rome on 24 March 1995. Standing 1.95 metres, he developed in Fiorentina's youth system after joining the club in 2009. He made his Serie A debut for Fiorentina on 1 November 2015, entering as a substitute in a 4–1 victory over Frosinone. Seeking regular senior football, Lezzerini moved to Venezia in 2018 and spent four seasons with the club, helping it reach Serie A through the promotion play-offs. In 2022, he joined Brescia, continuing his career in the professional Italian game and featuring in Serie B. At Venezia and Brescia, Lezzerini built experience as a goalkeeper trusted to handle demanding match situations and organize the defence. His tall frame supports work on crosses and aerial balls, while his distribution is generally described as pragmatic, with longer passes favoured when pressure makes short build-up risky.
