Leandro Lautaro Lacunza
Leandro Lautaro Lacunza is an Argentine defender born in Punta Alta on 21 July 1997. He developed at Rosario Puerto Belgrano before joining Olimpo de Bahía Blanca, where he made his Argentine Primera División debut in May 2016 against Banfield. Lacunza later returned to senior football with Olimpo in 2017–18, making nine appearances during a campaign that ended in relegation. He then continued his career in Argentina’s second tier, representing Guillermo Brown from 2020, Chacarita Juniors in 2022 and Alvarado from 2023 to 2024. In July 2024, Lacunza moved to Malta with Birkirkara, featuring as a right-back and in right-sided midfield while appearing in UEFA Conference League qualifying. He is currently listed with Hibernians, extending a career that has carried him from regional development to football in Europe.
