Luca Kerber
Luca Kerber is a German midfielder born in Dillingen on 10 March 2002. He developed at SSV Pachten before joining the 1. FC Saarbrücken academy in 2016, where he later captained the under-19 side in the A-Junior Bundesliga. Kerber made his senior debut for Saarbrücken against SV Meppen in the 3. Liga on 9 January 2021. At the club, he progressed from a deeper midfield role toward a box-to-box position and became a regular presence. During the 2023–24 season, he scored in Saarbrücken’s 2–0 DFB-Pokal win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the round of 16. In April 2024, Kerber signed for 1. FC Heidenheim on a three-year deal, moving into the Bundesliga. At Heidenheim, Luca Kerber has continued as a central midfield option, contributing defensive coverage and supporting attacks with his running and vertical passing.
