Lloyd Casius Kelly

Lloyd Casius Kelly is an English defender born in Bristol on 6 October 1998. He began playing with Bristol Central before joining Bristol City’s academy at 12, progressing to first-team training by 16. Kelly made his professional debut for Bristol City in a 5–0 EFL Cup win over Plymouth Argyle in 2017 and was named the club’s Young Player of the Year in 2018. In 2019, he moved to AFC Bournemouth, where he developed into a versatile left-sided defender and later captained the team during its promotion campaign. He joined Newcastle United in 2024, reuniting with former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe and offering tactical flexibility at centre-back and left-back. Kelly then moved to Juventus in 2025 and is part of the Italian club’s current squad. His career has combined defensive versatility with a gradual rise from Bristol football to European competition.
