Luis Jakobi
Luis Jakobi is a German midfielder born on 15 December 2001. He developed at 1. FSV Mainz 05, where he spent eight years from 2012 to 2020 and played in the club’s U17 and U19 Bundesliga teams. His youth progress also brought involvement with Germany’s Under-16 side. In 2020, Jakobi moved into senior football with SpVgg Greuther Fürth II before joining Türkgücü München in the 3. Liga. He continued his career abroad at Hungary’s Újpest FC in 2022, gaining experience in the OTP Bank Liga. Jakobi later played for Serbian club Sloboda Užice, adding another chapter to his cross-border career. Used in defensive or central midfield, Luis Jakobi is noted for two-footed distribution, ball retention and reading passing lanes to recover possession.
