Lukáš Horníček
Lukáš Horníček is a Czech goalkeeper from Vysoké Mýto, born on 13 July 2002. At 194 cm, he developed with Sokol Dobříkov before joining FK Pardubice in 2009. In 2017, Horníček had a trial with Bayer Leverkusen and became the Czech Republic Under-17 first-choice goalkeeper, while also featuring around Pardubice’s senior setup in the Czech second division. In July 2019, he moved to SC Braga on a trial loan. He impressed in Portugal’s under-23 competition and was named its best goalkeeper for the 2020–21 season, before Braga made the move permanent in 2020. Horníček made his senior Braga debut in a 5–0 Taça de Portugal win over Moitense in 2021, then made his Primeira Liga debut against Famalicão in May 2022. He has also represented the Czech Republic at youth level.
