Lucas François Bernard Hernández
Lucas François Bernard Hernández is a French defender, born in Marseille on 14 February 1996. He began playing at Rayo Majadahonda before joining Atlético Madrid’s academy in 2007. At Atlético, Hernández progressed into the senior side, making his debut in 2014 and establishing himself as a left-back or centre-back. He helped the Madrid club win the 2018 Europa League and UEFA Super Cup, and also reached the 2016 Champions League final. In 2019, he moved to Bayern Munich, where he was part of the team that won the 2020 Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League treble. Hernández joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2023, returning to France and adding a new chapter to his club career. At international level, he represented France at the 2018 World Cup, playing at left-back as France lifted the trophy.
