Lúkas Logi Heimisson
Lúkas Logi Heimisson is an Icelandic attacking midfielder who plays for Valur Reykjavík. Born on 4 April 2003, he developed in Fjölnir Reykjavík’s youth system before moving to Empoli, where he featured for the club’s Under-18 and Under-19 sides and appeared in the UEFA Youth League. He returned to Iceland in February 2023 and joined Valur, making 21 Besta deild appearances during his first season. Heimisson helped Valur win the League Cup in 2023 and 2025. In 2025, he scored six league goals and played in four UEFA Conference League qualifiers. Primarily a central attacking midfielder, he has also operated as a second striker and left winger. He has represented Iceland at under-17, under-19 and under-21 level.
