Lukas Grgić

Lukas Grgić is an Austrian midfielder, born in Wels on 17 August 1995. He developed in the youth systems of FC Wels and Hertha Wels before moving to SV Wallern in 2013. Grgić later progressed through SV Ried and WSG Tirol, with LASK Linz providing a major step in his career. At LASK, he helped win the Austrian 2. Liga title in 2016–17 and subsequently gained top-flight experience. After returning to LASK in 2020, he moved to HNK Hajduk Split in January 2022. In Croatia, Grgić contributed to Hajduk’s Croatian Cup victories in 2022 and 2023 before returning to Austria with Rapid Vienna in 2023. A defensive midfielder, he is valued for physical duels, positional discipline and short distribution, and can also cover central defence. He is currently listed with Bari, adding another chapter to a career built across Austrian and Croatian football.
