Louis Fortin

Louis Fortin is a Belgian goalkeeper born on 12 January 2002. He developed in Standard Liège’s academy, progressing through the club’s youth ranks before moving from the U18 side to its U23 setup in 2019. In June 2021, Fortin joined Gent, where he primarily played for the club’s U23 team while also training with and joining the senior squad environment. His time at Gent brought exposure to domestic and European matchday settings, including substitute involvement during Europa League campaigns. Fortin was also part of Gent’s squad when the club won the 2021–22 Belgian Cup. Seeking a senior pathway, he moved to Dender on 5 August 2025 and is now registered with the club. At 1.88 metres, Louis Fortin offers a strong physical presence as he continues pursuing regular first-team football.
