Lamine Fomba

Lamine Fomba is a French midfielder born in Rosny-sous-Bois on 26 January 1998. He began playing with Montreuil Red Star in 2007 before joining the AJ Auxerre academy, where he advanced through the youth system and signed his first professional contract in 2016. Fomba made his professional debut for Auxerre against AC Ajaccio in September 2016 and developed into a regular Ligue 2 midfielder, recording 28 appearances and three goals in the 2018–19 campaign. In August 2019, he moved to Nîmes Olympique, gaining Ligue 1 experience and making more than 100 appearances across France’s top two divisions. He later scored against Metz in May 2021 and contributed two goals and an assist in 34 Ligue 2 matches during 2021–22. Fomba joined AS Saint-Étienne in January 2023 before moving to Servette FC in July 2025, continuing a career built around midfield work and defensive responsibility.
