Lassana Diakhaby
Lassana Diakhaby is a French-born footballer who holds Mauritanian nationality. He developed in France with Troyes II from 2012 to 2015 before joining Angers II for the 2015–16 season. In 2016, Diakhaby moved to Belgian club RE Virton, where he spent two seasons, and he continued his career with Luxembourg’s FC Rodange 91 in 2018. At Rodange, he scored seven goals in 37 appearances and helped the club win the Luxembourg Division of Honour and promotion. Returning to France, he played for Trélissac FC in 2020–21 and then made 53 appearances for Martigues between 2021 and 2023, contributing to their promotion to the Championnat National. He represented FC Versailles from 2023 to 2025, recording 39 appearances and three goals. Diakhaby joined Châteauroux and made his Mauritania debut against DR Congo in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on 24 March 2023.
