Lucas Daniel de la Torre
Lucas Daniel de la Torre is a central midfielder from San Diego, United States. He developed with Nomads Youth Soccer Club and San Diego Surf before moving to England and joining Fulham’s academy in 2013. De la Torre made his senior Fulham debut against Leyton Orient in the EFL Cup in August 2016, recording 14 appearances during his seven-year spell. In 2020, he moved to Heracles Almelo, where regular first-team football established him as a dynamic midfielder and he earned Eredivisie Team of the Month recognition in March 2021 and January 2022. Celta Vigo signed De la Torre in July 2022, giving him a route into La Liga. At international level, he debuted for the United States in 2018 and was included in the 2022 World Cup squad. He is currently listed with Charlotte.
