Luke Vincent Conlan

Luke Vincent Conlan is a Northern Irish defender born in Portaferry on 31 October 1994. He developed with Grosvenor Youth and Portaferry before joining Burnley’s academy in 2011, helping the club reach the 2011–12 FA Youth Cup semi-finals and earning a professional contract in March 2012. After a loan at St Mirren in 2015, Conlan left Burnley and joined Morecambe permanently in 2016. He made over 120 appearances for Morecambe, becoming a regular in League Two and leading the club for minutes in 2018–19. In September 2020, he followed manager Jim Bentley to AFC Fylde, spending four seasons there before returning to Northern Ireland with Cliftonville in May 2024. Conlan represented Northern Ireland from under-15 to under-21 level, winning 11 under-21 caps, and made a notable Cliftonville start by scoring against Auda in the UEFA Conference League.
