Lucas Chevalier

Lucas Chevalier is a French goalkeeper born in Calais on 6 November 2001. He developed through SC Coquellois and AS Marck before joining Lille at 13, progressing through the academy and serving as third choice during Lille’s 2020–21 Ligue 1 title-winning campaign. He spent 2021–22 on loan at Valenciennes, making 30 appearances and winning the Ligue 2 Goalkeeper of the Year award. Returning to Lille in 2022, Chevalier established himself in the first team and saved a penalty against Lens in the Derby du Nord. During the 2024–25 campaign, he impressed in the Champions League as Lille defeated Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid. His displays led to a France senior call-up in November 2024, and he debuted in a 3–1 World Cup qualifying win over Azerbaijan on 16 November 2025. In August 2025, Lucas Chevalier moved to Paris Saint-Germain, where he became the primary goalkeeper, combining sharp reflexes with confident distribution.
