Lyall Cameron

Lyall Cameron is a Scottish midfielder whose development began in Dundee United’s youth system before he moved to Dundee. He made his senior debut in 2019 and gained experience through loan spells with Peterhead and Montrose, scoring his first senior goals during the latter period. Returning to Dundee for the 2022–23 Scottish Championship campaign, Cameron became an important attacking presence as the club pursued promotion. He scored 14 goals in all competitions, including a hat-trick against Hamilton Academical, and won Dundee’s Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards. In 2023–24, he helped Dundee reach the Scottish Premiership’s top six and was nominated for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award. A long-range strike against St Johnstone was voted Dundee’s Goal of the Season. Cameron joined Rangers in July 2025 after agreeing a pre-contract, continuing his career as a central midfielder.
