Laurențiu Constantin Brănescu

Laurențiu Constantin Brănescu is a Romanian goalkeeper born in Râmnicu Vâlcea in 1994. He developed at CSM Râmnicu Vâlcea and made his professional debut in Liga II as a teenager. Juventus signed him in 2011, placing Brănescu in their youth system and first-team environment, though he never made a senior competitive appearance for the Turin club. He then built experience through loan spells at Juve Stabia, Virtus Lanciano, Szombathelyi Haladás and Omonia Nicosia. A two-season spell with Dinamo București brought the Cupa Ligii title. Brănescu later moved to Kilmarnock, where he became first-choice goalkeeper in the Scottish Premiership. His career also includes FK Žalgiris Vilnius and Hibernians, while Romanian youth international involvement added experience beyond club football. At 1.94m, Brănescu combines a large penalty-area presence with traditional shot-stopping and has developed from a highly rated prospect into an experienced goalkeeper.
