Louis Bostyn
Louis Bostyn is a Belgian goalkeeper born on 4 October 1993 in Roeselare. He developed with K.S.V. Roeselare, spending two seasons in Belgium’s second division before moving to Zulte Waregem in July 2014. Bostyn made his official first-team debut for Zulte Waregem in a UEFA Europa League qualifying match against Zawisza Bydgoszcz on 17 July 2014. During his early years at the club, he was mainly a reserve goalkeeper, featuring in cup matches and occasional league fixtures. His breakthrough came in 2020/21, when he made 28 Jupiler Pro League appearances and recorded a 69.6 percent save rate. Standing 1.95 metres tall, Bostyn offers a strong physical presence in goal and is described as a traditional, safety-first goalkeeper. He remained with Zulte Waregem through its relegation to the Challenger Pro League in 2023, continuing a long association with the club.
